Build your Duelists. Call the cast.
A browser duel of nerve, wands, and carefully timed casts, set in a glitched dark.
You keep a stable of Duelists. Male and female mages share the same names they earned elsewhere, and you dress them for the way you mean to fight. Then you send them in and you call the exchange.
You choose when your Duelist draws, aims, casts, evades, or recovers. The engine resolves the spell. You read the result and decide the next cast. Your job is the mind behind the wand, not a crosshair.
Your strategy starts before the first cast.
What kind of Duelist will you build? One who can take punishment and outlast an opponent? One who spoils the other fighter's aim? Or a specialist built around accurate casts and carefully timed attacks?
Start with 12 basic dueling skills. As your fighters advance, explore Guts, Swagger, and Acuity and their nine paths. Match the wand and the gear to those choices.
Help shape HexFighter.
HexFighter is still in beta. The interface is plain on purpose. Come argue about builds, share a cast that should not have worked, and help decide what gets sharper next.
